Each drive shaft connects the electric motor to the gearbox input shaft, thereby transmitting torque to rotate the cooling fan. Amarillo Composite Drive Shafts are custom manufactured and engineered for specific applications to achieve optimum performance.
Our composite drive shafts will accommodate spans from 2 feet (0.61 meters) in small HVAC cooling towers, to over 20 feet (+6.1 meters) in large field erected towers and heat exchangers.

The Gearbox Service Unit is used for oil maintenance. It is generally used as an off-line filtration system in continuous operation.
Applying a Gearbox Service Unit to your system will give you the benefit of increased uptime of production machinery and extended service life for system components, by effectively reducing oil contamination from: Insoluble particles, Oil degradation products and oxidation by-products.

For fire protection systems, Amarillo Gear offers sizes up to 1,200 HP, which are listed with Factory Mutual (FM), and exceed NFPA-20 requirements.
