AES Double Seals (AES CAPI)

Employs Qualification Tested API 682 Technology, thin cross-section (TXS) seal designs for mature asset installation including API 610, 5th Ed. with a 0.500″ (12mm) radial cross-sectional space between the shaft and seal chamber.

Robust and reliable seal face drive (Patented floating drive technology) reduces high stress points at equipment start-up, probably the most compact dual API cartridge seals on the market which employ API 682 technology.

All sizes available from 1.000″ to 5.000″ (24mm – 125mm).

AES Double Seals (AES CDFI & CDFC)

The CDFI™ / CDFC™ bridges the product range gap between the FIDC™ and DMSF™ differentiating itself in two areas. The hybrid design offers a metal-to-metal inboard drive and an integral bi-directional pumping device, allowing the seal to fit in radial cross sectional spaces as small as 0.312″ (8mm). The CDFI™ / CDFC™ is available in any AESSEAL® standard seal face and elastomer combination.

Features: Integral deflector guides barrier fluid under faces and extends seal life, incorporates highly effective bi-directional pumping ring to maximize barrier flow and increase seal life, Bi-Metal CDFI™ / CDFC™ options also include exotic allow wetted components at minimum price premium for use with corrosive chemicals. Hydraulically balanced seal-face technology for reduced power consumption, non-shaft-fretting sleeve elastomer and positive set screw shaft drive, independent seal face design to enhance safe containment of process fluid in the event of damage to any individual sealing element and multiple spring seal face loading.

Sizes available from 1.125″ to 5.000″ (28mm – 125mm) in standard and ANSI Plus gland formats

AES Double Seals (AES CDP & CDPN)

The AESSEAL® CDP™/CDPN™ range of cartridge mechanical seals has been designed as high-performance sealing solutions for general applications. These products build on over a decade of proven performance from the AESSEAL® CURC™ and FIDC™ range of seals. They combine this with cutting-edge manufacturing techniques to represent the best value-for-money sealing solutions available today.

Features: Modular range of cartridge double mechanical seals for general applications, supplied with Quench, Flush and Drain ports as standard, hydraulically balanced seal-face technology for reduced power consumption, non-shaft-fretting sleeve elastomer and positive set screw shaft drive. Independent seal face design to enhance safe containment of process fluid in the event of damage to any individual sealing element and multiple spring seal face loading.

Sizes Available from 1.000″ to 3.500″ (24mm – 85mm) in standard and ANSI plus gland formats. Larges sizes termed CDP™.

AES Double Seals (AES DMSF & DMSC)

The AESSEAL® DMSF™ range of double cartridge mechanical seals has been designed as a high performance sealing solution for arduous applications. The current range of DMSF™ mechanical seals is the result of over 3 years extensive evaluation and development.

AESSEAL® believes that the DMSF™ is the most technologically advanced mechanical seal in its class. The DMSF™ is not a replacement for the highly successful FIDC™ range. The unique DMSF™ design features extend the range of applications that can be sealed by AESSEAL® products.

Features: Improve plant uptime and reduce maintenance costs, World-leading barrier fluid pumping and seal face cooling, designed to withstand barrier and process pressure fluctuations, internationally patented design.

AES Double Seals (AES FIDC)

The FIDC™ seal is the next generation of high performance sealing solutions offering increased barrier fluid flow for improved reliability.

AESSEAL® has designed an innovative “bi–metal” exotic alloy seal. Alloy 20, Alloy 276, Alloy 400 and Titanium grade 2 are inventoried in popular modular wetted component sizes. Any additional commercially available special alloys are made to order. These special alloy parts are fitted to the standard Stainless Steel components.

The use of a neutralizing barrier fluid protects the secondary Stainless Steel parts that are not exposed to the process fluid during normal operation. Availability and flexibility of design meets the special demands of the corrosive fluid containment market.

Variations to the seal specification can be accomplished by selecting from many different options. Seal faces are offered in any combination of Silicon Carbide, Tungsten Carbide and Carbon, both inboard and outboard.
